This circa 1930/40s Platinum band has the most charming Orange Blossom engravings that goes throughout the outer shank has developed a lovely patina over time with a lovely velvety silver sheen. The orange blossoms are crisp and very detailed and the inner shank has a PLATINUM hallmark.
Orange Blossom, known as the Flower of Love, is associated with good fortune, eternal love, virtue, chastity, and is a very popular wedding band choice ever since Prince Albert gifted Queen Victoria a wreath of white porcelain orange blossoms with gold leaves on a braided black velvet band with a silk ribbon tie at the back for their sixth wedding anniversary in February 1846.
