A lovely antique turquoise and pearl sword brooch crafted in 14K Yellow Gold from circa Edwardian era.
The sword handle has a pearl set above the pearl and turquoise encrusted hilt and the guard section set with more pearls and turquoise stones. The side of the gilt has a decorative letter "E" in gothic font set with pearls. The turquoise stones are a lovely bright blue adding a pop of colour to the brooch.
The sword motif can symbolize power, protection and courage.
The brooch features a c clasp with a safety catch that securely holds the pin in place.

Wonderful, pre-owned condition, light surface wear commensurate with age. Turquoise stones are a uniform light bright blue in colour. The Pearls are white in body colour, with a soft silver to gold play of colour. Pearls with light blemishes to nacre Some marks and scratches, in keeping with age and general wear.
