A beautiful late Victorian heart-shaped rock crystal pendant, crafted in 9K yellow gold and framed by a halo of creamy pearls. The pearls remain in lovely condition, displaying consistent white to soft ivory tones, while the pearl-set bail adds an elegant decorative touch.
The pendant may originally have formed part of a brooch based on the design of the bail and is stamped with English hallmarks indicating 9K gold fineness, although the date letter has worn away over time.
There are light surface scratches to the rock crystal, consistent with age, but overall the pendant remains in good condition.
