A 18K Yellow Gold Vintage A. Augis Qu'Hier Que Demain Ring with a single-cut diamond accent stone and bordered by a halo of round faceted synthetic rubies.
The text reads "+ QU'HIER - QUE DEMAIN" and translates to "today more than yesterday and less than tomorrow" from a famous 1907 poem by Rosemonde Gérard she penned for her husband.
The plus sign has a single-cut diamond accent stone and the minus sign is set with 2 square step-cut synthetic rubies.
This piece is by Alphonse Augis, a French jeweler from Lyon, with A Augis maker's mark that is legible on the front of ring face.
The first medals were made from 1907, this one is circa 1960/70s. It is in very good condition.
