An incredible antique Georgian era elongated torpedo pendant crafted in 18K rose gold that was converted from an earring from the early 19th Century.
The drops are chased with a chevron pattern and lead to a total of five beautifully detailed flowers, four at the front of the pendant, two of which are set with aquamarines in the center that seem to sprout from a shell on the bottom of the pendant. Intricate wirework and high repousse scroll work with floriform embellishments in wave like designs wrap the bottom of the pendant suggesting an ocean like theme. An articulated ball suspends from the bottom providing movement when worn. The back of the pendant is the fifth flower enveloped by the scrolling waves.
The pendant is light and hollow and would look so lovely worn on a longer chain.
