A stunning French Napoleon I Rose Cut Diamond and Red Enamel Ring crafted in 18K Rose Gold and Silver, circa first half of the 19th century (1801–1850). A marquise-shaped plaque in reddish-orange enamel centers three graduating rose-cut diamonds, set in cut-down silver settings and nested in a closed backing, affectionately known in the jewelry community as the "ring butt."
The ring gallery is held up by a decorative split shoulder shank adding to the intricacy of the ring design.
