This 1920s 18K Yellow Gold band has the most charming Orange Blossom engravings that goes throughout the outer shank with fine milgrin detail on one edge, has developed a lovely patina, darkened over time with a hint of green to the gold, showing that the ring was well loved and worn.
The inner shank has an inscription that says E.M.D. - R.M.M. 8.2.'21
Orange Blossom, known as the Flower of Love, is associated with good fortune, eternal love, virtue, chastity, and is a very popular wedding band choice ever since Prince Albert gifted Queen Victoria a wreath of white porcelain orange blossoms with gold leaves on a braided black velvet band with a silk ribbon tie at the back for their sixth wedding anniversary in February 1846.
