A beautifully made 18K Yellow Gold 1900s era propelling pencil studded with seed pearls that can be worn as a pendant.
In wonderful workable condition, the style of the nib is long and thin and the body of the pencil is tactile with the protruding pearls.
The pencil is opened by pulling the bottom of the pencil where the lead end is, pulling it apart slowly until it reaches its full length, then twisting it for the lead portion to extend, revealing a lovely finely detailed pencil tip.
To close twist and push the retractable portion down gently into the holder until fully retracted and you feel a little bit of a resistance to ensure the nib is tight and won't slide out of the holder.
