A conversion piece, this was from a pair of earrings reimagined into a pendant.
The pendant features a cornflower blue Star Sapphire bezel set against an engine turned backdrop surrounded by a halo of 22 pearls.
From circa 1940s-50s, the sapphire displays asterism with a faint but visible star and the pearls are white and creamy.
