A gothic Victorian era ring crafted from 14K rose gold with a deep red garnet carved in the shape of a Maltese cross from circa 1890s. The garnet is bezel set and applied to a yellow gold rhomboidal plaque shaped ring face that mirrors the shape of the garnet. 4 gold beads are set on each side of the rhombus to accentuate the design.
The Maltese Cross is a symbol of protection and a badge of honor and is most often linked with the Knights of Malta.
The ring is easily sizeable and free sizing down is offered for this ring if required.
