An exquisite antique flask from the 19th century, crafted in 22K and 18K yellow gold in the form of a mango. The vessel is finely enamelled in red, white, blue, and green with a floral and foliate design. Six glittering polki diamonds adorn the top of the pendant, enhancing the gold-inlaid floral motifs, and a hinged lid opens to reveal the flask within.
The mango, a motif long cherished in Indian jewellery and often associated with abundance and prosperity, makes a fitting shape for this tiny vessel. Polki, traditional uncut diamonds, add a soft, natural brilliance that sets this piece apart from conventional faceted stones.
The pendant is in wonderful condition, with small areas of wear to the red enamel on the flowers and where the latch is located, consistent with its age and gentle use over the years.

CONDITION
Overall wonderful, pre-owned condition, with some superficial surface wear and patina typical for its age. As with all vintage and antiques, we recommend handling and wearing it with care. Some missing enamel on the red floral section. One polki has a chip on top part of the diamond. The remaining diamonds are in good condition, with minor nicks commensurate with their age.
