A circa 1880s Victorian bangle crafted out of 15K Rose Gold with a magnificent heart shape cabochon moonstone bezel set with a rope pattern framing it. Two gold beads flank either side of the moonstone adding balance to the design of the bangle.
The moonstone has a beautiful adularescence with a moody silvery flash when it moves much like the shine of moonbeams.
Moonstones were a popular gemstone in the early 1900s especially among lovers as it was known as the Lover's Stone and symbolised love and romance.
