A pair of early to mid Victorian era diamond floral cluster drop earrings set in 14K Rose Gold with 9K Rose Gold fastenings.
Each earring has 9 closed back rose-cut diamonds set in a floral cluster shape with the larger central diamond surrounded by 8 diamond accents and a single diamond placed at the top of the floral cluster to finish the design.
The diamonds scintillate beautifully in the light and is delicately held in a bezel prong setting with a buttercup border.
The earring closure is presumably a later addition in the 1870s of a front hook style making it comfortable to wear and distributing the weight of the earring evenly.

Wonderful, pre-owned condition, light surface wear commensurate with age. Front Hook closures could have been a later addition to the earrings with the indication of solder marks on top and bottom of the fastenings.
